Sidecut
The term waistline is generally used in clothing ( costumes , jackets , coats ) and in construction. It means a method of manufacture or construction that has a markedly narrow center ( waist ).
In the case of clothing, the effect of the waist can be further enhanced by coloring, patterning or stripes, accessories and possibly a belt .
In winter sports, various tailored skis ( carving skis , fun carvers ) have been on the market to a greater extent since the 1970s , and for snowboards since around 1985.
