Tanja Stelzer

Tanja Stelzer (* 1970 in Kronberg im Taunus ) is a German journalist and author. She heads the department " dossier " the weekly Time , where she writes mainly portraits and reportage.

Career

Stelzer studied German and political science at the University of Frankfurt am Main and in Paris. During her studies she wrote as a freelance journalist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . After completing a traineeship at the German School of Journalism in Munich, Stelzer became editor of the “third page” of the Tagesspiegel . In 2006 she switched to the weekly newspaper Die Zeit , where she was involved in the redevelopment of ZEITmagazin and later became deputy editor-in-chief there. Since 2012 she has been writing for the "Dossier" department of the time , which she heads today together with Wolfgang Uchatius .
