Tatyana Evgenevna Chmyrowa ( Russian Татьяна Евгеньевна Хмырова , scientific transliteration Tat'jana Evgen'evna Chmyrova ; born February 6, 1990 in Volgograd ) is a Russian handball player .
Life
Chmyrowa played from 2005 for the Russian club GK Dynamo Volgograd . Here the backcourt player received her first play in the EHF Champions League at the age of 16 . In the 2008/09, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons she won the Russian championship with Dynamo. At European level, she won the EHF Cup in the 2007/08 season . From the summer of 2013, Chmyrowa played for the Macedonian first division club ŽRK Vardar SCBT , with whom she won the championship in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and the Macedonian Cup in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. In the summer of 2018 she joined the Hungarian association Siófok KC . With Siófok she won the EHF Cup in 2019. After Chmyrowa suffered from knee and ankle problems in the 2018/19 season, she took a break. For the 2020/21 season she signed a contract with the Spanish first division club Balonmano Salud Tenerife.
Chmyrowa won the 2008 World Youth Championship with the Russian selection and was also named MVP of the tournament. At the age of 18, Chmyrowa took part in the 2009 World Handball Championship with the Russian women's national team and won the world championship. During the tournament she received large shares of the game and at the end of the tournament she finished 13th in the scorers list with 47 goals. With the Russian national junior team, she was runner-up in 2010. She was also named the best right back player. In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London .
