Terese Pedersen (born April 27, 1980 in Sandefjord ) is a former Norwegian handball player .

Career

Pedersen was part of the squad of the Norwegian first division club Byåsen IL from 2011 , where she ended her career in 2014. Before that, she played in her home country at Tertnes IL , IL Runar, Larvik HK , Sandar IL, Randers HK and Hypo Niederösterreich , with whom she won the Austrian championship in 2010 and 2011. The goalkeeper's trademark was that she stood in goal in shorts.

Pedersen made her debut for the Norwegian national team on August 3, 2004. In total, she completed 82 games for the Norwegian team. With the Norwegian selection, she won the European Championship in 2004 , 2006 and 2008 . At the 2007 World Cup in France, she was runner-up. She was in the squad of her national association at the 2009 World Cup in China , where she won bronze with the selection.
