Thao Vu
Thao Vu (born April 21, 1987 in Hanoi ) is a German actress and voice actress of Vietnamese descent.
Life
Thao Vu grew up in her native Hanoi in Vietnam. At the age of 16 she came to Germany alone to learn German and to do her Abitur. She studied the languages and cultures of Southeast Asia, first at the University of Hamburg and later at the Humboldt University in Berlin . At the same time, she took acting classes in Berlin and worked as a photo model. She made her cinema debut in 2012 with her role as Phuong Mai in We Wanted to Sea .
