The High Roller in the entertainment complex The LINQ on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in the world at a height of 167 meters .

Construction of the bike began in late 2011 and took place in multiple locations around the world including China, Japan, France, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Colorado, California, and Las Vegas. Final assembly of the system with a diameter of 158.5 meters was in 2012. On April 1, 2014, the Ferris wheel was opened exactly one month after The Linq opened. The High Roller is 2.7 meters higher than the previous record holder, the Singapore Flyer , which opened in 2008 and is 165 meters high. The wheel is illuminated with more than 2,000 LED lights.
