Permanent conference acting training
The Standing Conference Acting Education (SKS) is a working group of German-speaking state or municipal training institutes for professional actors . It serves the cooperation and communication of the training institutes and discusses content-related and organizational questions as well as they are of supraregional importance. The main task of the SKS is the quality assurance of the acting training. In order to guarantee this, the SKS advocates the further development of training opportunities in the interests of the students and, as far as possible, jointly represents the interests of its members vis-à-vis the Rectors' Conference of the conservatoires of the Federal Republic of Germany and vis-à-vis federal and state ministries.
Through the work of its member institutes, the SKS contributes to the organization of an annual theater meeting for German-speaking drama students, combined with the federal competition for the promotion of young actors from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany.
