Theodor Stillger

Theodor Stillger (born August 28, 1920 in Camberg , Taunus; † June 7, 1982 in London , England ) was a German architect and educator.

Career

Stillger was born to Josef Stillger and Karoline Stillger, née Gallo. After graduating from high school, he studied architecture. After returning from British captivity, he passed the state examination as a structural engineer in 1947 and worked as a freelance architect until 1953. In addition to his job, he taught at a vocational school and completed a six-semester course in pedagogy in Frankfurt am Main. From 1964 he taught as a teacher at a vocational school and was later director of the glass college in Hadamar . From 1970 he was the first full-time general director of the Deutsches Museum in Munich. He died unexpectedly in June 1982 on a business trip in London.
