Thomas Floutz is a makeup artist and special effects artist .

Life

Floutz began his career on the film staff in 1986 with horror films like Critters - You Are Here ! and Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives . In the following years he worked on major Hollywood productions such as Beetlejuice , Sieben and Independence Day . 2009 he was for Guillermo del Toro action film Hellboy - The Golden Army along with Mike Elizalde for the Oscar in the category Best Makeup and Best hairstyles nominated, but won this year's fantasy film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button . Floutz has worked under other renowned directors such as David Fincher , Spike Jonze , Tim Burton , Kenneth Branagh and Brian De Palma . He has worked on numerous superhero films since the early 2000s , including X-Men: The Last Stand , Spider-Man 3 , Marvel's The Avengers, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice .
