Thomas Tress

Thomas Treß (born January 31, 1966 in Riedlingen ) is a German business graduate and football official .

Life

Treß is a certified auditor and tax advisor and, as a partner of the auditing company RölfsPartner, initially accompanied the restructuring of the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund .

Since 1 January 2006 he has been a managing director at BVB responsible for the finances and organization. Together with Reinhard Rauball and Hans-Joachim Watzke , he saved the traditional club from bankruptcy in 2006 by restructuring its liabilities .

On November 5, 2013 he was awarded the CFO of the year 2013 by Finance Magazin .

Personal

Thomas Treß lives in Cologne . He is extremely interested in contemporary art .
