Tina Teubner (born February 22, 1966 in Witzenhausen ) is a German cabaret artist , author and chanson singer .

Life

Tina Teubner first studied music therapy in Vienna , later violin at the music academies in Düsseldorf and Münster . She gained her first stage experience as a stage musician at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus .

At the age of 25, in 1991, she began to sing and in 1993 was awarded first prize in the “ National Singing Competition for Musical / Chanson” in Berlin . Since then she has written various stage programs of her own, which she herself referred to as "songs, cabaret and nonsense" and with which she appears in the entire German-speaking area. Tina Teubner was awarded the German Cabaret Prize and the German Cabaret Prize. Teubner made her directorial debut in 2006 in the Düsseldorfer Kom (m) ödchen , with the program Neues von Gestern with Niki Ankenbrand. In 1995 she also worked in the film Victory, based on a novella by Joseph Conrad, which starred Willem Dafoe , Sam Neill , Irène Jacob and Rufus Sewell .

Tina Teubner has been working closely with her stage partner, the pianist , arranger and composer Ben Süverkrüp for years . She participates in Süverkrüps literary concerts and his musical thought theater as an actress and reciter ("Hercules - about the longing to be human", "The Beethoven machine" and "What a sunset"). One of their programs was entitled Men Need Limits and premiered in September 2013 at Kom (m) ödchen in Düsseldorf .
