Location of Tintellust in Niger
Tintellust in Stieler's Hand Atlas (1891)

Tintellust (also: Tchintoulous , Tchintouloust , Tintelloust , Tin Telloust ) is a settlement in the Aïr high mountains in Niger .

The village lies in a valley between the mountains Agueraguer ( 1730  m ) in the north and Goundaï ( 1768  m ) in the south. The settlement belongs to the municipality of Iferouane and the UNESCO World Heritage Aïr and Ténéré nature reserve . The population consists mainly of Kel Ewey Tuareg , who practice horticulture and livestock on a modest scale.

Tintellust became known in the 19th century as the seat of the influential local ruler Annur, whom the African explorers Heinrich Barth and James Richardson visited in 1850. At the beginning of the 20th century, Tubu drove the residents to the city of Agadez . They did not return to the valley until 1942, now decimated by diseases. Tintellust had 371 residents in the 1988 census, 734 residents in the 2001 census, and 67 residents in the 2012 census.

With a Center de Santé Intégré (CSI) there is a health center in the village.
