Tom McLoughlin
Thomas Maurice McLoughlin (born July 19, 1950 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film and television director , screenwriter and actor .
Life
McLoughlin made his directorial debut in 1982 with the horror film They Reach for the Living , for which he also wrote the screenplay. Three years later he directed Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives the sixth part of the Friday the 13th film series . His film Date with an Angel was nominated in 1988 for the Saturn Award for best fantasy film. This was followed by work on various television productions, for example from 1988 to 1989 he directed some episodes of the series Erben des Fluchs .
He is married to actress Nancy McLoughlin and has two children.
