Thomas Sven "Tommy" Moe (born February 17, 1970 in Missoula , Montana ) is a former American ski racer .

He won the gold medal in the downhill and silver in the super G at the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer . Besides his medals in Norway , he only won the Super-G in the World Cup once ( Whistler , March 13, 1994). His surprising gold medal came ten years after Bill Johnson's success in Sarajevo; the narrow lead over local hero Kjetil André Aamodt was 0.04 seconds. At the Pan American Games in 1990 he won the silver medal in the Super-G.
