The Tornower Niederung nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the towns of Calau and Lübbenau / Spreewald in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1593 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of July 11, 2005 . The approximately 852 hectare nature reserve extends southwest of Groß Beuchow , a district of the city of Lübbenau / Spreewald. Not far to the east is the 326 hectare Lichtenau Lake and the A 13 runs, the L 526 state road runs to the northeast and the L 52 to the southwest.
