Tower case

The Tower Fall is a waterfall in the north of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming , USA . The water of Tower Creek plunges nearly 40 m (132 ft.) Into the depth.

The Tower Fall is located in the course of the Tower Creek immediately before its confluence with the Yellowstone River . It was so named in 1870 by Samuel T. Hauser , a participant in the Washburn-Langford-Doane expedition , because of the volcanic spiers on either side of the waterfall. In spring, the amount of water in the waterfall is ten times higher than in autumn.

The earliest travelers to the Yellowstone area mentioned the Tower Fall. Thomas Moran was the first to paint a picture of him in 1871 or 1872, which would later become famous.
