The Imperial Abbey of St. Maximin is very close by . This was the largest of the four earlier Benedictine monasteries in Trier and is one of the oldest in Western Europe. Also the cath. St. Martin Church is in Trier-Nord. Culturally, the district also stands out thanks to the Exhaus on Zurmaiener Strasse. Concerts and events take place there regularly.

Moselle bank

The Zurlaubener Ufer is primarily characterized by its gastronomic offer directly on the banks of the Moselle. The city's passenger shipping port is also located here. The Zurlaubener Ufer is known in particular for the annual Zurlaubener Moselfest, which ends with the fireworks Moselle in flames .
