Trigaches is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in Portugal and belongs to the district of Beja . The community had an area of 16.6 km² and 448 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Trigaches and São Brissos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Trigaches e São Brissos . Trigaches is the seat of this newly formed community.
