Troina is a city in the Free Church consortium Enna in the region Sicily in Italy .

Location and dates

Troina is located 63 km northeast of Enna . The city has 9400 inhabitants (as of October 2017). The inhabitants work mainly in agriculture, sheep breeding and the production of cheese.

The neighboring municipalities are Bronte ( CT ), Cerami , Cesarò ( ME ), Gagliano Castelferrato , Randazzo (CT), Regalbuto and San Teodoro (ME).

history

The region of Troina was already around 6000 BC. Populated as necropolises in the area prove. Smaller villages have also been discovered from the Neolithic Age . Attractions
