Turn 10 Studios is an American development studio that specializes in racing games. Its headquarters are in Redmond, Washington. The company was founded in 2001 under Microsoft Game Studios (now known as Xbox Game Studios) to develop racing games for the Xbox platforms and Windows . Turn 10 Studios is a division of Xbox Game Studios .

history

Turn 10 Studios was founded in 2001 by Microsoft under the Microsoft Game Studios division (now known as Xbox Game Studios) to develop a series of racing games that would later become known as Forza. At the time of the inception of the studio, most of the employees had experience publishing games like Project Gotham Racing and Golf 4.0, rather than employees with direct experience in development, design and programming.

Fuel

Turn 10 Studios developed a 3D modeling program called Fuel. With Fuel, several people can work on a car or a race track at the same time. The level of detail that now goes into every model is immense, including the details that gamers will almost never see in current games.
