The UMT United Mobility Technology AG (formerly Leipzig Solar Farm AG) is a publicly traded technology and financial services company headquartered in Munich. The company offers its customers services and solutions for mobile and electronic payment systems based on its own mobile payment and loyalty platform. There have been cooperation agreements with the Payback bonus program since 2014 . The payment method Payback Pay developed by UMT in 2017 on this basis is accepted by Rewe , Penny , Real and DM , among others .

Products and services

The UMT Mobile Payment & Loyalty Platform supports all common mobile operating systems ( Apple iOS , Android (operating system) and Microsoft Windows Phone ). Different technologies such as Near Field Communication (NFC) , optical codes and Bluetooth can be used. The platform technology is mainly marketed as a white label solution as part of licensing .

The basis was the first product iPAYst , a cross-technology application that enables mobile payment and the integration of customer loyalty programs via smartphones , tablets and other mobile devices. iPAYst was mainly used as a mobile payment solution in the catering and hotel industries.

Holdings

As part of its business activities, UMT AG also participates in companies that are complementary or sales-supporting for their product portfolio. These include above all the Munich-based UMS United Mobile Services GmbH, iPAYst LLC Riga and the and Mobile Payment System Espana SL in Barcelona. UMT AG has been a partner in Wiener delinski GmbH since April 2014.

UMT AG has also had a subsidiary in the USA since 2016.

In May 2017, with the majority takeover of Peaches Mobile GmbH, the internet portal prelado, which operates in digital and mobile prepaid telephony as well as in the gift and online voucher segment, was also taken over.

In 2019 UMT announced a strategic partnership with Kingsbridge Capital Advisors Limited.
