The USS Morris (ID: DD-417) was an American destroyer the Sims class of the Second World War . The keel was laid on June 7, 1938 at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard , on March 5, 1940 the ship was put into service. The Morris was decommissioned on November 9, 1945 and sold for scrapping on August 2, 1947.
