Uberer

Uberer (lat. Uberii ) is the name of a semi-Celtic tribe that lived around 100 BC. Was at home in Upper Valais ( Switzerland ). The Uberians settled the uppermost part of the Rhone Valley , from Goms to the Visp region ( canton of Valais ). They were culturally closely related to the Lepontiers from Northern Italy ( Domodossola region ) and are counted among the Celts in literature.
