Udalrich II. Birker
Udalrich II. Birker was abbot of the Waldsassen monastery from 1479 to 1486.
During the period of office of Udalrich II, poor harvests in the monastery area led to generally rising prices. Udalrich II came under criticism because he sold the grain stores of the monastery until there was a shortage here too. He invested the proceeds in new paraments and renovation measures . He resigned and moved to Castle Falkenberg , where he lived for another 18 years.
