Ulrich Heckel

Ulrich Heckel (* 1958 in Munich ) is a Protestant theologian .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in Tübingen in 1992 and his habilitation there in 2002, he taught there from 2006 as an adjunct professor for the New Testament. From 1992 to 2006 he was pastor at the Reusch Church in Göppingen and from 2003 to 2008 he headed the state working group of Protestant educational institutions (LageB) in Württemberg . Since March 2008, he has headed Department 1 Theology, Congregation and Church Worldwide in the Upper Church Council of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg .
