Ulrichswalde is a scattered village . It is 280 m above sea level. It is located south of Quirla and can be reached via a local road. There is forest to the south and north of the hamlet. The demarcation is docked . The federal motorway 4 with a connection is at Quirla.

In 1457 the hamlet was first mentioned in a document .

A small medieval weir system is located in the Weiherbachsgrund . It was laid out in three stages, taking into account the natural terrain. It says something about the early settlement of the surrounding area.

In 2011 58 people lived in the hamlet.
