UmweltMagazin (subtitle The Decision Maker Magazine for Technology and Management ) is a specialist magazine for environmental technology and management published by the Association of German Engineers . The magazine deals with ecologically relevant topics under the aspect of economic feasibility. It is a specialist body of the VDI Society for Energy and Environment (VDI-GEU), the Association of Operational Representatives (VBU) and the Association for Sustainability and Environmental Management eV (VNU). According to the magazine, the target group includes “decision-makers from industry, consulting and engineering offices, municipalities, associations and politics”.

UmweltMagazin is published twelve issues a year. Double issues are published in January / February, April / May, July / August and November / December. The magazine is published by VDI Fachmedien GmbH & Co. KG.
