Unland

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unland is a category of the four-yearly land survey introduced in 1980 (in the new federal states 1992) and since 2008 annual land survey in the German official statistics (land survey according to type of actual use, EVAS no. 33111).

According to the definition, it is "undeveloped areas that are not used properly". These include rocks , stone bars , larger embankments , dunes , abandoned and non-recultivated mining land and the like.

“Unland” is a sub-item in the “land for other uses” in the list of types of use. According to the usage type code, it is shown as follows:

  • 900 areas for other uses
    • 950 unland
      • 951 rocks, stone bars
      • 952 dune
      • 953 Set aside mining land
      • 959 Unland, not further subdivided

Furthermore, the term unland is defined in the German real estate cadastre as usage type group 37000 when recording the actual use of a parcel . According to this, unland is an area without significant vegetation due to special soil conditions, such as B. rock, stones, gravel, scree, sand, snow, ice or firn.

The wasteland is to be distinguished from the wasteland . This term is rarely used officially in Germany and is broader than Unland. It also includes moors and swamps , which have significant vegetation.

With the conversion of the area survey from ALB to ALKIS from 2014, a new, five-level area system was defined:

  • 30,000 vegetation
    • 37000 unland, area without vegetation
      • 37010 Area without vegetation
        • 37013 rubble
        • 37014 sand
        • 37015 snow
        • 37016 Ice, Firn
        • 3701_R Area without vegetation - not further subdivided
      • 37020 water body
        • ...
