Uta Hallant
Uta Hallant (born May 12, 1939 in Munich ) is a German actress and voice actress .
Life
After attending an acting school in her hometown, Uta Hallant received her first theater engagement in Bremen. From 1960 until the Berlin Schiller Theater was closed in 1993, she was a member of the ensemble of the State Drama Theaters of Berlin . In her long stage career she played Eva in Kleist's broken jug , Esther in Roger Vitrac's Victor or Kinder to Power and Jessica in Peter Ustinov's Beethoven's Tenth (alongside Ustinov in the title role).
Since the 1950s she has also taken on numerous roles in film and television productions. She played u. a. in Harald Reinl's war drama U 47 - Kapitänleutnant Prien , in Ottokar Runze's drama Der Mörder (based on Georges Simenon ) as well as in television series such as Wolffs Revier , Direktion City , Liebling Kreuzberg and For all cases Stefanie .
In addition, Uta Hallant has worked extensively as a voice actress since 1961 . She lent her voice to internationally known actress colleagues such as Ursula Andress ( James Bond chases Dr. No ), Julie Andrews ( Mary Poppins ), Claudia Cardinale (The Son of the Pink Panther), Glenn Close ( Mars Attacks! ), Jamie Lee Curtis ( A fish named Wanda ), Catherine Deneuve (Tristana), Priscilla Presley ( Dallas ), Marina Vlady (The Killer), and Natalie Wood ( West Side Story , In Love with a Stranger ). After Marion Degler , she was Audrey Hepburn's second regular speaker (in Charade , My Fair Lady and How do you steal a million? ). In addition, she also participated in many radio play productions .
Uta Hallant was married to her colleague Stefan Wigger .
