Veit Neumann

Veit Neumann (* 1969 in Gunzenhausen ) is a German Catholic theologian , author and publicist .

Life

From 1990 Veit Neumann studied in Münster , Bogotá and Eichstätt , where he graduated in Catholic theology in 1995 , in education in 1998 and in journalism in 1999 . During his studies he became a member of the KDStV Alcimonia Eichstätt. After receiving his doctorate in 2005 summa cum laude at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the LMU Munich , he was a research assistant at the Chair for Pastoral Theology at the Catholic Theological Faculty in Munich from 2007 to 2013 . Since 2010 he has been a lecturer in pastoral theology at the Episcopal Studies Rudolphinum Regensburg . From 2012 to 2013 he taught as a lecturer for pastoral theology (fundamental pastoral) at the PTH St. Pölten . In the summer semester 2013 he was a lecturer in homiletics at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Since 2013 he has been teaching as a full professor of pastoral theology at the Philosophical-Theological University of St. Pölten. In 2014 he was a lecturer in pastoral theology in the in-house study of the Trappist Abbey in Mariawald in the Eifel.

In 2010 he became editor of the Academia , the association journal of the Cartell Association of Catholic German Student Associations . Since 2011 he has been deputy chairman of the Alfons Fleischmann Association for the Cultural and Scientific Promotion of the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (AFV) and managing director of the Scientific Commission of the AFV. Since 2015 he has been the editor of the publications of the Alfons-Fleischmann-Verein.
