The Bavarian Administrative Court of Regensburg is a court of administrative jurisdiction . It is one of six administrative courts (VG) in the Free State of Bavaria . There are currently 16 chambers set up at the Regensburg Administrative Court.

Seat and District of the Court

The administrative court has its seat in Regensburg . The administrative districts of Upper Palatinate and Lower Bavaria form the local jurisdiction of the court.

Service building Neue Waag

The Regensburg administrative court is located in the building of the former Neue Waag at Haidplatz 1 in Regensburg. The Neue Waag was built in the 13th century as a patrician house of the Gumbrecht family, in 1441 the building became the property of the city of Regensburg and was then used for various purposes. In 1940 the Free State of Bavaria acquired the Neue Waag assembly group from the city. The building has been used by the administrative court since 1960.
