Villa Frese

The Villa Frese is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district, Gete district, Schwachhauser Heerstraße 59. The house was built in 1897 according to plans by Eduard Gildemeister and Wilhelm Sunkel. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1993 .

history

The three-storey, clinkered villa with a basement , hipped roof , loggia and bay windows as well as a clearly structured facade through u. a. Eckquader was built in 1897 in the epoch of historicism in the neo-renaissance style for the merchant, liberal member of the Reichstag and Bremen Senator Hermann Frese . The redesigned, low staggered storey stands out clearly from the two lower storeys and the roof through the ribbon of glass.

The architects Gildemeister and Sunkel also built the St. Remberti , Villa Ahlers and Villa Lüdemann churches in Schwachhausen .

Today (2018) the house is used by law firms, practices, offices and a children's group.
