Villa Louise
The Villa Louise is located in the Kötzschenbroda district of the Saxon city of Radebeul , on Meißner Straße 289.
description
The under monument protection standing villa like Villa is a one-story residential building with a cantilevered, slate-roofed gable roof . The long side of the house faces the street; In the center there is a three-axis, two-storey central projection at the height of the house with a rafter gable . On the front, the house entrance leads via a flight of stairs through a wooden vestibule into the risalit. At the rear in front of this is the wooden winter garden.
The plastered facades are structured in a variety of ways according to their construction time by means of plaster structures, corner pilasters and corner blocks and cornices. The windows sit in sandstone walls with folding shutters.
To the right of the country house is a simple outbuilding with a gable roof.
The enclosure is made by a wooden fence between sandstone pillars, the two-winged wooden gate sits between renewed sandstone pillars with cover plates.
history
Carl Traugott Schubert senior, acting as his own building contractor. In November 1867 applied for the construction of a residential house "with a Swiss roof", plus a side building on the west side of his own property. The buildings were built by the local master builder Hugo Große and received the building inspection in July 1868.
A winter garden was added to the back of the building in 1902.
