Villa Marie

description

The Kaditz building contractor Wilhelm Krobitzsch applied for the construction of this rental villa in November 1902 , the design of which came from the architect Carl Käfer, who was also in charge of the construction. The request for a first construction inspection was made in September 1903, shortly after the nearby villas Carola and Martha, which were built by the same contractor . The two-storey residential building, which is a listed building along with the enclosure , has a partially expanded, tile-covered, high hipped roof with decorated ridge tiles.

In the street view on the right there is a side elevation with a stepped gable . To the left of the back is a massive veranda with an extension. In the right side view, there is a rectangular, three-storey staircase tower with a curved roof and hood , continued by the facade, which extends to the rear.

The brick style of the house, which is rare in Radebeul, is the result of red brick facades with sandstone structures. The late historic building is complemented by style elements from the 16th century.
