Internet portal psychosocial health

Volker Faust is one of the first German psychiatrists to use the World Wide Web as a communication medium for his texts under the domain psychosoziale-gesundheit.net (around 17 million hits and over 5 million page views per year). Inquiries about the texts come from patients, relatives, students, doctors and authorities. Under the section Psychiatry Today , clinical pictures from aggression to coercion are described in alphabetical order. The Mentally Ill Among Us section covers the same subjects in brief. The mental hygiene part is primarily about border areas of mental disorders. In the part spoken and written , forms of expression in research, teaching, culture and society are examined in their change. The book reviews section contains several hundred book reviews of scientific textbooks. The findings of the Psychosocial Health Working Group of psychiatrists, neurologists, neurologists, psychologists, social workers, specialist nurses, occupational therapists and others are included in this internet portal. The most important Internet chapters are also available as a loose-leaf collection in six volumes.
