Volker Schöttner (born June 9, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
For the 1970/71 season Schöttner rose from the second team of SV Werder Bremen to the first, which played in the Bundesliga . This season he was substituted on for Eckhard Deterding in the 68th minute of the game on the 28th matchday in a 2-2 draw in the north derby against Hamburger SV . He was able to reach 10th place in the table this season with the Werder team. He also played for SVW in the following season, but was not used. He then moved to Bremerhaven 93 in 1972 .
