Vytautas Andriulis

Vytautas Andriulis , real name Judickas (born April 24, 1937 in Gūriai, Raseiniai ; † February 9, 2017 ) was a Lithuanian administrative lawyer and legal historian, professor of legal history at the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius .

Life

Vytautas Andriulis graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University in 1963 . From 1973 to 1979 he worked at the Institute for Philosophy, Sociology and Law, where he obtained his doctorate in 1975 . Andriulis then worked at the Vilnius University History Faculty from 1980 to 1989. In 1990/1991 he worked in the Law Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice as Deputy Director and from 1991 to 1993 as Legal Advisor to the Lithuanian Government (1991–1993). 1994–1999 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Law (lit. Teisės institutas ) and deputy director. At the same time he was a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Lithuania from 1995 to 1999 . Vytautas Andriulis was also a member of the Higher Commission on Professional Ethics .

From February 4, 2000, he worked as a professor at the Chair of Legal History at Mykolas Romeris University.
