Route
The route is roughly based on the course of the Waldviertel narrow-gauge railways and runs through the following places in Lower Austria:
Groß Gerungs → Bad Großpertholz → St. Martin → Weitra → Gmünd
There is also an alternative route that starts from Langschlag instead of Groß Gerungs . In each of the places mentioned there is a train station where the Waldviertel narrow-gauge railway stops. You can also skip parts of the cycle path and cover the rest of the way with the Waldviertel narrow-gauge railway.
