The coat of arms stone is a listed relief in the district of Stadt Gernrode, part of the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in Gernröder's old town on the east side of the house at Marktstrasse 4 and is listed as a coat of arms in the local register of monuments.

Architecture and history

The coat of arms stone dates from 1717. It was probably part of the Gernroder Ostentor . It was later attached to Hottelmann's house at Marktstrasse 4. The building on which the coat of arms stone is attached is more recent than the coat of arms. The coat of arms of the Anhalt princes is depicted on the stone .
