Official seat
The building, which dates from the 1960s, was reopened in January 2012 after it was renovated for around 4.9 million euros, carefully preserving the original architecture. In 2007, following a competitive process, a Freiburg architects' office was selected as the architect of the renovation project. The facade renovation was aimed at minimizing energy losses and optimizing the daylight autonomy of the offices. The reduced design language of the original building was adopted and further developed. Glass fiber reinforced precast concrete elements were used as the facade material. In further construction phases, the parking deck was covered with a solar system and the stairwell was glazed for fire protection reasons.
