Wederath is a village in the Hunsrück and a district of the association-free municipality Morbach in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate .

history
On December 31, 1974, the previously independent town of Wederath was incorporated into the newly formed community of Morbach.
Culture and sights
The Belginum Archaeological Park , an archaeological museum, is located between Wederath and Hunsrückhöhenstrasse . The museum shows finds from the important Iron Age burial grounds of Wederath and the everyday life of the Roman provincial population in the ancient Belginum , a Roman settlement ( vicus ) on the Hunsrückhöhenstrasse .
