Hausberg winery

The former Hausberg winery was in the Zitzschewig district of the Saxon city of Radebeul , at Mittleren Bergstrasse 58 on the corner of Hausbergweg. In 2008, the listed building was demolished due to its dilapidation, the associated land areas were planned for the construction of new residential houses (building area at the former Hausberg winery ) and built on.

The winery was adjacent to the Paulsberg , Kynast , Krapenberg wineries and the valley complex there .

The core of the former vineyard house dates back to the 17th century. The building got its last cubature around 1800. In 1821 the property belonged to a Martin Fleischmann, in 1853 to a captain Hoffmann von Altenfels.

Around 1880/1900 a conversion took place in which, among other things, sheet zinc dormers were placed on the roof.

The main house at the foot of the Hausberg had an L-shaped floor plan. The three-storey and six-axle main building with hipped roof was traufständig for Middle mountain road on the corner, about the middle of the street view was a simple korbbogige gateway from the construction period around 1800. The massive walls were plastered, and the same was true of extending located on the courtyard side truss .

On the courtyard side, connected at right angles, was a two-story, plastered extension with a hipped roof .

During the GDR era, the building was divided into numerous residential units.

Before the demolition, two ovens of the Saxon furnace and chamotte factory, formerly Ernst Teichert in Cölln near Meißen (stamped "S.0.F. vorm. ETM") were cataloged by the monument preservation and at their request by the association for monument preservation and new building radebeul secured.
