1975 World Weightlifting Championships

The 49th World Weightlifting Championships for men took place from September 15 to 23, 1975 in the Soviet capital Moscow . 169 weightlifters from 33 nations took part in the competitions held by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in one-on-one (snatch and push) .
