Werner Abrolat

Werner Abrolat (born August 15, 1924 in Tilsit ; † August 24, 1997 in Munich ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Abrolat's acting career began after the Second World War and was initially limited to working on various provincial theaters. In 1949 he got his first permanent engagement in Ingolstadt . Then there were appearances in television games and dubbing assignments.

After starring in the hit spaghetti western For A Few Dollars More in 1965, he also got a number of film appearances. His filmography spans a very wide range of genres ; so he starred in horror films such as The Torture Chamber of Dr. Fu Man Chu or Der Hexentöter von Blackmoor , thrillers like At zero o'clock the trap snaps shut , Tatort - Everything Palermo , clothes like Otto is keen on women , comedies like Nach Fünf im Urwald , TV series like Derrick , A man on the train , The fast one Gerdi , or even soft porn like Josefine Mutzenbacher and finally in most Helge Schneider films. Abrolat was also very active as a voice actor . So you could z. B. heard in the Muppet Show (as Gonzo) as well as in The Simpsons as caretakers Willie and Jasper Beardley or as "Tjure" in Wickie and the strong men .

It rests in the Solln forest cemetery (No. 28-3-158) in Munich.
