Werner Senftleben

Werner Senftleben (born February 16, 1925 in Berlin ; † October 6, 2007 in Schildow ) was a German actor and speaker for radio and dubbing. He became known through DEFA films such as Konrad Wolfs Sonnensucher and television productions such as Ferienheim Bergkristall .

Life

Senftleben attended the Schneider-Wienecke drama school in Berlin from 1948 to 1950 and then began his career as an actor on a stage in Bernburg, followed by other positions until he returned to his hometown in 1965. Here he worked briefly for the Hans-Otto-Theater , later became a member of the theater ensemble of the Volksbühne Berlin for almost 30 years .

In addition, Senftleben also worked as a spokesman for radio and for dubbing and lent a. a. Miloš Kopecký in the Czechoslovak TV series The Hospital on the Edge of the City and James Stewart in The Stranger in the Rainforest his voice. Furthermore, he played in over 200, mostly small roles, in film and television productions and embodied police officers and public prosecutors as in the DFF series Blaulicht , or in The public prosecutor has the word and Polizeiruf 110 .
