Werner Sulzgruber (* 1968 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian historian and educator.

Life

Werner Sulzgruber studied history, psychology, education, philosophy and German philology at the University of Vienna , was a teacher at the Bundesrealgymnasium Gröhrmühlgasse in Wiener Neustadt and was director from 2014 until the military secondary school in Wiener Neustadt was closed in 2018. Among other things, Sulzgruber has written a number of books on Jewish history and contemporary history of Wiener Neustadt and is also involved in the memorial project Stolpersteine ​​for Wiener Neustadt . In addition to numerous scientific research and commemorative and mediation projects, he also curated individual exhibitions at the Wiener Neustadt City Museum (The Jewish Community of Wiener Neustadt, Stolpersteine ​​Wiener Neustadt, Family Album).
