West Indies cricket team in India in the 2002/03 season
The West Indies cricket team's tour to India in the 2002/03 season took place from October 4th to November 24th, 2002. The international cricket tour was part of the 2002/03 international cricket season and included three test matches and seven one-day internationals (ODIs) . India won the Test series 2-0 while the West Indies won the ODI series 4-3.
prehistory
For both teams it was the first tour after the ICC Champions Trophy 2002 , with India sharing the victory and the West Indies eliminated in the preliminary round. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002 season in the West Indies .

After the two previous ODIs had problems with spectator behavior, the third ODI had to be canceled when a West Indian player was hit by an object. The game was then canceled and rated for India accordingly. The West Indies had no success with their complaint about this rating.
