Wilfried Ahnefeld (born October 8, 1948 ) is a former German soccer player . He played ten Bundesliga games for Hannover 96 .

Career

The striker and later midfielder began his career at TuS Niedernwöhren and moved to Hannover 96 at the age of 15, where he was the top scorer in his age group several times. On October 21, 1967, he made his Bundesliga debut when he was in a 1: 3 defeat against TSV 1860 Munich . In the next game against FC Schalke 04 he even scored a goal. By the end of the 1968/69 season he was on the field a total of eight times for Hanover, then he moved to the Regionalliga , at that time the second highest division, to VfB Oldenburg .

During his time in Hanover, he made two appearances in the Messestädte-Pokal , the predecessor of the UEFA Cup : In the first round in 1967/68 he stormed 1-1 against SSC Napoli (with Dino Zoff and José Altafini ) in the second leg home Lower Saxony Stadium on the left wing next to center forward Walter Rodekamp . In November 1968, in the 2: 4 away defeat against AIK Stockholm on the side of Josef Heynckes and Hans Siemensmeyer .

With coach Emil Iszó he experienced relegation in the Donnerschwee stadium. Ahnefeld came to Oldenburg to 62 games and nine goals. For the 1971/72 season he moved to VfL Wolfsburg and finished third and fourth with the team of coach Imre Farkasinszki and fellow players Wolf-Rüdiger Krause and Wilfried Kemmer in the last two rounds of the old second-rate regional league system. In the Regionalliga Nord Ahnefeld came to 92 missions for the wolves in which he scored nine goals.

After the establishment of the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1974/75 season , 22 games were added in this league. After his professional career, he played at FC Stadthagen and at TuS Hessisch Oldendorf , with which he was promoted to the amateur league. He finally ended his career at TuS Niedernwöhren.
