Wilhelm Buerstedde

Wilhelm Buerstedde (* 1929 ) is a local politician from Lower Saxony . He was city ​​director in 1975 and senior city director of Hildesheim from 1984 to 1994 and is an expert in water and foundation law .

Life

Buerstedde attended the Josephinum grammar school and, after graduating from high school, studied philosophy and Catholic theology in Frankfurt am Main , Münster and Innsbruck as well as law and political science in Göttingen and Paris . He earned a doctorate in law. He then worked as a lawyer and at the tax office. In 1960 he resigned as Kreisoberrat in the services of the district Hildesheim-Marienburg . In 1970 he moved to the city of Hildesheim, where he became the department head for legal affairs, security, order, school and culture. After he was elected City Director in 1984, he held this position until January 31, 1994. From the following day he practiced again as a lawyer.

Buerstedde is married and has five children and fourteen grandchildren. He is a member of the KDSt.V. Sugambria (Jena) Göttingen .
