Wilhelm Otto von Glasenapp
Wilhelm Otto von Glasenapp , in Russia Vladimir von Glasenapp (born February 2, 1786 in Perrist / Livonia (Estl. Peri), † December 16, 1862 in Saint Petersburg ); was Lieutenant General of the Imperial Russian Army .

He commanded successively the 1st and 5th light cavalry and the 2nd Uhlan divisions. Glasenapp left the service in 1846.
He was married twice. A daughter and two sons come from their first marriage. The daughter Annette married Vice Admiral Woldemar von Glasenapp in 1847 . She was a lady- in- waiting to the Empress of Russia.

- 1814 Pour le Mérite ( awarded by King Friedrich Wilhelm III after the capture of Paris in 1814 )
- 1814 Officer's Cross of the Order of St. George (after the Battle of Montmirail 1814)
- 1832 Commander's Cross of the Order of St. George (after the battle and capture of Warsaw in 1831, → November Uprising )
